The Pulsing Sphere — Scenifly's founding scene
The Pulsing Sphere is Scenifly's first scene. It transforms your YouTube music into a living three-dimensional sphere that reacts instantly to audio frequencies.
What you see
At the center of the scene, a luminous sphere rotates, surrounded by a translucent wireframe. All around it, radial bars rise and fall in rhythm — one per frequency band — like the rays of a pulsing sun. A cloud of particles floats and swirls around the whole structure. A deep blue fog wraps everything, giving the scene a cosmic and intimate atmosphere.
The colors of the sphere and bars evolve in real time with sound intensity: cool blue and violet hues at rest, shifting to orange and white during crescendos.
Audio reactivity
Low frequencies inflate the sphere and stretch the nearest bars. Mid frequencies animate the orbiting particles. High frequencies make the wireframe shimmer. Everything responds simultaneously, creating an intuitive visual reading of the audio spectrum.
Technology
Three.js r128 rendering with SphereGeometry, BoxGeometry bars positioned in a radial arc, Points particle system. Exponential FogExp2 fog for atmospheric depth. All geometries share the same Web Audio API FFT analyser (512 bins). Colors updated via MeshPhongMaterial every frame.
